Data Manager is where data enters CRM Analytics and gets transformed before it reaches a dashboard.

Connections

A connection is a source: the local Salesforce org, another Salesforce org, or an external source via Salesforce Connect. Every recipe and dataflow reads from a connection.

Dataflows & recipes

• Recipes are the visual, drag-and-drop way to transform data — filter, join, bucket, aggregate — and are the recommended starting point.
• Dataflows are the older, JSON-based transformation pipelines; you'll still see them in established orgs.

Monitor

The Monitor tab shows every job that has run — dataflows, recipes, syncs — with status, duration, and row counts. It's the first place to check when a dataset looks stale or a job fails.
